WORLD ROCKS AGAINST DEMENTIA 2023

Hiya ALL as you know, my name is Norrms Mc Namara and I am the founder of the Global (Torquay Based) Purple Angel Dementia Campaign, charity number 1189616. For years now we have been holding a World rocks against dementia or WRAD as we call it every September (Any date in September will do ) where we ask, care homes, Nursing homes, Hospitals, dementia groups, and day centers around the world, to hold a very small event in September, ie - A cake sale, cream tea, musical day, silent disco, raffles etc. So many different counties across the globe have joined us in this in the past.

Then all you have to do is tell us what you’re doing and where you are, and we will put you on our WORLD MAP to show how the world can come together to help those with this awful disease. It really is as simple as that! We have supplied so many people in the UK with FREE MP3s uploaded with music of their very own choice, over 8,000 in the last five years, and all for free, including the postage, the feedback has been just incredible and so rewarding. To keep this going WRAD 2023 is our biggest Fundraiser for the Mp3s and if you do want to raise some funds for us, that’s brilliant. But the wonderful thing about WRAD is you don’t have to!! And if you want to raise funds for your own care home etc. instead?, that’s absolutely fine by us, we are not precious about what we do.
